Service to begin at 3pm, followed by a reception
COVID Protocol
We ask that folks to take a rapid test on Saturday morning, and wear a mask during the service. The program portion of the memorial will be in the Unitarian Church's Great Hall where it will be possible to socially distance. The reception/food will be held mostly outdoors on a veranda--masking will be optional outside. The plan is the same rain or shine.
Sunday Picnic at the Family "Farm"
Date: Sunday, September 11th, 2022
Time: 12PM
Location: Schoharie County (address will be emailed to those who RSVP)
Everyone is invited to an outdoor potluck picnic at the van Schaick family "farm" in Schoharie County. If you are an out-of-towner, we would only ask that you bring something easy to pick up, like a beverage or a dessert. If you are from around the area, we'd welcome a side or main dishes or a dessert. We will have chicken, veggie and regular burgers and hotdogs. We will have tents in case of rain. There will also be a performance of some union-y folky songs by Dave Crump, one of my dad's oldest friends.
